since 1978 in Southern California, Bau Furniture has
become one of the finest furniture manufacturers in
the United States.
Each piece of furniture
is manufactured from scratch to specification of
size, top and finish to accommodate any
room. All pieces are constructed using Maple and
Olive Ash Burls.
Finishing is done by
hand, through a series of glazing and staining
techniques, completed with a varnish top coat. Hand
rubbing with steel wool and wax to produce a smooth
silky feel is an option as well as high-polishing to
a brilliant luster. Distressing can be done to give
an appearance of “Through the Ages” antiquing.
We offer over 35 various
finishes, including crackle and gold or silver leaf.
